Frequently Asked Questions

Which paper should I choose, Watercolor or Smooth Matte Paper?

If you want your prints to look very similar to the original paintings, go with the watercolor paper. It has a high end look and feel and is the most popular choice among art buyers in my store.

However, if you change out your art displays regularly, the smooth matte paper is the way to go. It has a velvety smooth texture, looks very nice, and the price lets you buy more art and decor.

Either way, both types of paper do a fine job of representing the rich colors and details of the original watercolor paintings.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Though I do not gift wrap, my packaging is white and nicely done. The larger sizes also use tissue paper and ribbon in my packaging method. Packages marked as a gift do not contain an invoice or receipt.

Larger prints are shipped rolled, how do I flatten mine?

Your local framer will be accustomed to handling rolled prints. If you are framing it yourself, begin unrolling the print on a clean dry surface, placing books as you go. The print should relax enough to sandwich it between the glass/matt and the backer board in a few days.

Cheryl is so talented. I ordered a custom painting of my dog Chloe, and I absolutely love it! I also ordered the cardinal print, and it looks just like an original painting! She is very responsive if you have any questions. I am going to have her paint me another custom piece for my mom. **5 Stars!**

Cheryl painted a lovely portrait of my dog, he recently passed away and I wanted to have a portrait made of him on his happiest day - his birthday! I asked if Cheryl could paint the painting in shortened time frame, and she was able to get it done quickly! The painting is so lovely. Thank you, Cheryl!

I got this as a gift, and it was perfect!! Beautiful colors and captured my friend’s cat perfectly. The artist was very communicative and thorough. Thank you!!

Cheryl, Good morning. I apologize profusely for not getting back to you sooner. We have been changing internet providers and and that has proved more difficult than we imagined. My wife received the portrait of "Hurricane" Maddie on her birthday and absolutely loved, loved loved it!!!! You captured her perfectly. She looks like she is moving about in the portrait. She is a Ninja after all. Thank you so much!!!
