Frequently Asked Questions

Which paper should I choose, Watercolor or Smooth Matte Paper?

If you want your prints to look very similar to the original paintings, go with the watercolor paper. It has a high end look and feel and is the most popular choice among art buyers in my store.

However, if you change out your art displays regularly, the smooth matte paper is the way to go. It has a velvety smooth texture, looks very nice, and the price lets you buy more art and decor.

Either way, both types of paper do a fine job of representing the rich colors and details of the original watercolor paintings.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Though I do not gift wrap, my packaging is white and nicely done. The larger sizes also use tissue paper and ribbon in my packaging method. Packages marked as a gift do not contain an invoice or receipt.

Larger prints are shipped rolled, how do I flatten mine?

Your local framer will be accustomed to handling rolled prints. If you are framing it yourself, begin unrolling the print on a clean dry surface, placing books as you go. The print should relax enough to sandwich it between the glass/matt and the backer board in a few days.

Th painting is more beautiful than I imagined. The colors are exciting and vibrant and the painting is so balanced and detailed. Cheryl responded when emailing, very quickly. It was sent when she said it would be, on time. Perfect condition when I received it. Everyone in the store came to see this painting when I was having it framed, when word got around how majestic it was and what a beautiful painting it was. I did 2 matts. Large outside in a burnt umber (old Crayola color) and frame matched the brown in the horse. Its gorgeous! Exited for friends to see it in house after the virus passes. Very happy and pleased that this artist/shop was so thoughtful and prompt and it was all perfect. Thanks Cheryl

Incredible quality watercolor prints. Cheryl is a true artist. Ordered for our horse barn and they arrived well packaged and on the same day we received frames for them. I am sure we will purchase from Cheryl again in the future. Easy to work with and received sooner than expected!

Going to be a great gift for a horse-loving friend!

Beautiful ... thank you !
